IT World Canada has recently posted an interesting article which outlines what happened in the US and why this legislation had to be shelved as a result of the protest.  As I outlined in a recent blog post [Social Media Affects SMB Office Document Strategies](https://www.leppert.com/office-document-strategies-blog/bid/74092/Social-Media-Affects-SMB-Office-Document-Strategies) the impact of this activity on many of the traditional lobbying efforts in the US is significant.   It shows us the type of impact these new communication tools can have on all business.
