Anyone who watches the mobile operating system world knows that the largest single market share is held by the Google based Android OS. While Apple has been busy getting a lot of the headlines when they introduce new models of phones etc. Android OS has been capturing the bulk of the market share in tablets, phones and now with the new Samsung line up of multifunction printers.

In his christmas blog, Vince McHugh published a copy of a recent letter that has been sent by Ricoh USA to their customers (former Ikon customers) who are still operating Canon equipment. This letter indicates that they will no longer renew service agreements with those customers on their Canon equipment once their current plan runs out.

Samsung Canada has announced a new refreshed series of ledger sized mfp products which will become available in early 2013. Consisting of a 25 ppm (CLX-9252NA) and 35 ppm (CLX-9352NA) colour group and a 30 ppm (SCX-8230NA) and 40 ppm (SCX-8240NA) mono group the new series of models feature some key differences to their predecessors.
