IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals) were in agreement… Too many fingers in the paper filing cabinet equals lost files, wasted time and an overwhelming, aggravating and stressful mess.

Last night along with a couple of others from our office I participated in a Vendor Fair at a conference for the Administrative Professionals Association in our area. The attendees at this event were administrators from a variety of organizations from both the private sector and the public sector throughout southern Ontario.

I have been involved in configuring and supporting electronic filing in southern Ontario for almost fifteen years. In the past few months I have been pleasantly surprised to have more people inquiring about electronic file storage. I think one of the reasons that it is more acceptable for people to consider a less paper storage option is because they are becoming familiar with personally focused online file storage options.

For the last fifteen years I have been involved in the design, setup and sales of document management systems as part of my work in our business here in Burlington. During that time there have been weeks when we would not be able to engender any interest in this enabling technology.
