Kyocera Canada has just announced a new series of long life, super fast mono network printers ranging in speed from 42 pages per minute to 62 pages per minute. This is a long way from the early days of laser printers when 8 ppm was considered fast.

Everyone complains about the amount of spam that is around the internet. Somewhere I read that as much as 80+% of the email sent everyday can be spam. If your email address is a long standing one and you have used it many times to sign up for services and as your login for various web based online opportunities you can be sure that you will receive spam in some form or another.

One of the services we provide is an outsourced scanning bureau for clients looking to convert their paper files to electronic records. I have observed the process we apply to this busy part of our operation and one thing that becomes abundantly clear is that productivity in any scanning operation is seriously affected by the way paper files are created.

I was recently a guest at the Canadian launch for the Intec line of specialty production digital colour printers. The Intec line is targeted to meet very specific needs for colour digital printing that would be outside of the norm for colour MFP or colour laser printers.
